Himachal Government to Celebrate Three Years in Office with State-Level Event in Mandi on December 11

The Himachal Pradesh government will mark the completion of its three-year tenure with a state-level celebration scheduled for December 11 in Mandi district. Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu chaired a high-level review meeting in Shimla to assess preparations for the upcoming event.

A committee comprising Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi, Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, and Dharampur MLA Chander Shekhar has been constituted to finalize the venue for the program. The Chief Minister directed all departments to ensure that arrangements are completed within the stipulated timeframe, emphasizing that the event should reflect the government’s “Vyavastha Parivartan” (systemic transformation) initiative and the positive changes achieved over the past three years.

During the event, a coffee table book highlighting the government’s major achievements and reforms across departments will also be released. The Chief Minister’s Principal Advisor, Ram Subhag Singh, has been appointed as the coordinator for information collection and documentation.

Highlighting the government’s accomplishments, Chief Minister Sukhu said that significant progress has been made in education, healthcare, and the rural economy, benefitting people across the state. He added that the state’s financial condition has improved, with steady growth in revenue generation.

Beneficiaries of various welfare schemes and individuals who have made notable contributions in different sectors will be specially invited to the ceremony and felicitated for their achievements. The Chief Minister also instructed officials to accelerate ongoing development projects and prepare a two-year roadmap to ensure effective implementation of government priorities at the grassroots level.

He further underscored the importance of expanding digital services, improving governance in all departments, and ensuring that government facilities reach citizens more efficiently.

Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister Ram Subhag Singh, along with administrative secretaries, department heads, and senior officials were present at the meeting. All Deputy Commissioners across the state also attended virtually.

This state-level celebration aims to showcase the government’s vision of progress, transparency, and inclusive development over the last three years, highlighting Himachal Pradesh’s journey toward sustainable growth and improved governance.
