Shimla:
In a major push towards strengthening industrial development and attracting fresh investments, the Department of Industries, Government of Himachal Pradesh, will organize an exclusive CEO Interaction – Strategic Leadership Dialogue for Investment & Industrial Growth on January 4, 2026, at Hotel Peterhof, Shimla. The high-profile event will be a key highlight of HIM MSME FEST 2026 and will be held in the distinguished presence of the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

Industry Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan said that the interaction is being designed as a focused and high-level engagement between the government and industry leaders, reflecting the state’s proactive approach towards investor facilitation and economic growth. He emphasized that Himachal Pradesh is steadily positioning itself as a preferred destination for sustainable and future-oriented investments.
The closed-door CEO Interaction will bring together prominent Chief Executive Officers, Managing Directors, promoters and senior industry leaders from priority and sunrise sectors such as pharmaceuticals, green mobility, food processing, dairy, data centers and the defence sector. Envisioned as a curated Business-to-Government (B2G) platform, the dialogue will enable open and candid discussions on investment opportunities, policy support, regulatory reforms and long-term industrial growth strategies in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary (Industries) R. D. Nazeem said the initiative underlines the state government’s commitment to collaborative governance, investor-centric policymaking and ease of doing business. He noted that the interaction aims to showcase Himachal Pradesh as a future-ready, sustainable and globally competitive investment destination. The dialogue will highlight the state’s evolving industrial ecosystem, infrastructure preparedness and sector-specific strengths, while also providing industry leaders with a direct channel to share expectations, challenges and suggestions with senior policymakers.
A key focus of the interaction will be exploring opportunities for anchor investments, development of industrial clusters and deeper value-chain integration, particularly in MSME-linked manufacturing. The event will also encourage partnerships between large enterprises and local MSMEs, fostering inclusive, balanced and employment-oriented industrial growth across the state.
Dr. Yunus, Director of Industries, said the CEO Interaction is expected to significantly enhance investor confidence in Himachal Pradesh. He added that the dialogue would help identify new investment proposals and expansion plans, generate valuable inputs for further refinement of industrial and MSME policies, and contribute to the formulation of a long-term roadmap for technology-driven and sustainable industrial development.
The event will feature participation from leading national and international industry leaders, a policy and vision presentation by the Department of Industries, sector-specific roundtable discussions, one-to-one meetings between industry heads and senior government officials, and a platform for announcing Memorandums of Cooperation (MoCs), Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and investment intents.
As a cornerstone event of HIM MSME FEST 2026, the CEO Interaction underscores Himachal Pradesh’s resolve to build a strong, resilient and MSME-led industrial economy through partnership, policy clarity and strategic leadership.
