Punjab’s law enforcement intends to bring him in on a production warrant to expand the scope of interrogation, particularly focusing on the funding channels and digital communication networks used to plan the attack.

DGP Yadav, addressing media alongside Jalandhar Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur, made it clear that the investigation is far from over. Efforts are actively underway to expose the full chain of handlers, financiers, and foreign-based actors involved in orchestrating and facilitating the act of terror. The FIR, registered on April 8 under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita along with sections of the Explosive Substances Act, marks the legal framework under which the accused will be prosecuted.
