SJVN Celebrates International Women’s Day 2024 with Inspiring Event in Shimla

SJVN, a leading Power Sector CPSE, hosted a grand event in Shimla to celebrate International Women’s Day 2024. The event, themed #InspireInclusion, saw 179 women participants gather for a day of empowerment and inspiration.

Smt. Geeta Kapur, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN, presided over the function. She highlighted the historical significance of women’s contributions and applauded Ms. Geeta Phogat, Arjuna Award Winner and renowned wrestler, for her groundbreaking achievements. Ms. Phogat, the special guest, delivered a motivational talk, sharing her journey of overcoming challenges and urging attendees to “Never Give Up.”

Smt. Geeta Kapur, herself a trailblazer, reaffirmed SJVN’s commitment to fostering a work environment rooted in inclusivity and respect. Sh. Chandra Shekhar Yadav, Executive Director (HR), delivered a thought-provoking address on the importance of inclusion in achieving gender equality.
