Alliance Air to Resume Delhi–Shimla and Shimla–Dharamshala Flights from May 10



Dharamshala — Efforts to promote tourism in Himachal Pradesh through improved air connectivity are beginning to yield results, as Alliance Air Aviation Limited is set to resume flight operations on the Delhi–Shimla, Shimla–Dharamshala, Dharamshala–Shimla, and Shimla–Delhi routes from May 10, 2026.

According to the flight schedule, the Delhi–Shimla–Delhi service will operate six days a week — Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, the flight will depart from Delhi at 7:20 AM and arrive in Shimla at 8:35 AM. The return flight will leave Shimla at 11:30 AM and reach Delhi at 12:40 PM.

On Saturdays, the flight will depart from Delhi at 7:50 AM and arrive in Shimla at 9:05 AM, while the return service will leave Shimla at 12:00 PM and arrive in Delhi at 1:10 PM.

On Sundays, the flight will depart from Delhi at 6:20 AM and land in Shimla at 7:35 AM. The return flight will depart from Shimla at 8:00 AM and arrive in Delhi at 9:10 AM.

Meanwhile, the Shimla–Dharamshala–Shimla air service will commence from May 11, 2026, and will operate five days a week — Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, the flight will depart from Shimla at 9:00 AM and arrive in Dharamshala at 9:50 AM. The return flight will depart from Dharamshala at 10:15 AM and reach Shimla at 11:05 AM.

On Saturdays, the flight will depart from Shimla at 9:30 AM for Dharamshala and the return flight will depart from Dharamshala at 10:45 AM, arriving in Shimla at 11:35 AM.

The resumption of these services is expected to provide a significant boost to tourism and improve air connectivity within Himachal Pradesh, particularly benefiting travelers visiting Shimla and Dharamshala
