Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced plans to promote yoga among the masses and make Haryana a yoga-oriented state. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of yoga in daily life and its benefits for overall well-being.

The Chief Minister also addressed concerns about the rising number of COVID-19 cases, assuring the public that there is no need to panic. He stated that the health department is fully prepared to handle the situation.

The announcement was made in the presence of Additional Chief Secretary of the AYUSH Department, Sudhir Rajpal, Chairman of the Haryana Yoga Commission, Dr. Jaideep Arya, Director General of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture Department, K. Makrand Pandurang, and Media Secretary to the Chief Minister, Praveen Atrey.

This initiative aims to promote yoga as a way of life in Haryana, highlighting the government’s commitment to the health and wellness of its citizens.
