In a major push towards technology-driven growth and innovation, TiE Chandigarh, with the support of the Haryana government, is set to host the region’s first Artificial Intelligence Summit on January 31 in Chandigarh. The summit aims to position Haryana as a leading hub for artificial intelligence and unlock new opportunities in the information technology sector.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the event as the chief guest, underlining the state government’s commitment to leveraging advanced technologies for governance, economic expansion, and employment generation.
The summit will be held under the theme “Glocal AI – Real Impact”, highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in delivering meaningful, real-world solutions by blending global expertise with local needs. The event is expected to attract wide national and international attention, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, technology experts, and innovators on a single platform.
Several distinguished national and international dignitaries will participate in the summit, including the British Deputy High Commissioner in Chandigarh, senior officials from the Software Technology Parks of India, and top functionaries from the Haryana government. More than 60 speakers from four countries and 11 Indian states will take part, giving the summit both a strong national footprint and a global perspective.
Senior Haryana government officials such as Dr Amit Aggarwal, J Ganesan, Prabhjot Singh, Yash Garg, and Amit Dahiya will also be part of the discussions. They will share insights on governance reforms, policy frameworks, and the state’s roadmap for adopting artificial intelligence across various sectors.
The summit will also witness participation from leading global corporations including AWS, AT&T, Capgemini, Accenture, IBM, Adobe, KPMG, and the World Bank. Experts from these organisations will deliberate on key themes such as enterprise AI, digital transformation, responsible AI, and global best practices in technology deployment.
As part of the programme, 11 panel discussions and three hands-on workshops have been scheduled to encourage deeper engagement and practical learning. AI-focused startups from Haryana will also showcase their innovations, reflecting the growing entrepreneurial ecosystem within the state.
The overarching objective of the summit is to reinforce the message that artificial intelligence is a critical enabler of enhanced skills, productivity, and operational efficiency. With a strong focus on responsible AI, skill development, and inclusive economic growth, the event is expected to play a significant role in shaping Haryana’s future as a technology-forward state.
