SJVN Concludes Inter-Projects Sports Meet 2023-24

The SJVN Limited, a hydropower company in India, organized its Inter-Projects Sports Meet from November 2023 to April 2024. The closing ceremony was held at the company’s headquarters in Shimla and was graced by Smt. Geeta Kapur, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN.

शिमला में स्थित एसजेवीएन लिमिटेड के कॉर्पोरेट मुख्यालय में कंपनी के आंतर परियोजना स्पोर्ट्स मीट खेल सम्मेलन 2023-24 का सफल समापन हुआ। समापन समारोह में अध्यक्ष एवं प्रबंध निदेशक श्रीमती गीता कपूर ने शिरकत की। यह खेल सम्मेलन नवंबर 2023 से अप्रैल 2024 तक आयोजित विभिन्न खेल टूर्नामेंटों का समापन था।

The ceremony marked the culmination of various sporting events held across different projects of the company. These events included Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Kabaddi, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom for men, and Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and Carrom for women. The Chess Tournament, held on April 21-22nd, marked the final event of the meet.

Smt. Geeta Kapur felicitated the winning teams and participants during the ceremony. She emphasized SJVN’s commitment to fostering not just professional excellence but also the overall development of its employees through such sporting initiatives.

Team NJHPS, Team CHQ, and Team RHPS emerged as the overall winners, securing the first, second, and third positions respectively. The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from teams representing various SJVN projects.
