Jawalamukhi, Kangra: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu received a warm and enthusiastic welcome upon his arrival in Jawalamukhi on Monday evening, marking the beginning of his two-day visit to Kangra district. A large number of local residents gathered at the Sapdi Helipad to greet the Chief Minister, reflecting strong public engagement during his visit.
Prominent dignitaries and officials present on the occasion included MLA Sanjay Rattan, Agriculture Bank Chairman Ram Chand Pathania, Wool Federation Chairman Manoj Thakur, and Congress leader Surendra Mankotia. Senior administrative officials, including Additional Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar, Superintendent of Police Mayank Chaudhary, and SDM Sanjeev Kumar, were also present to receive the Chief Minister.
Soon after his arrival, the Chief Minister proceeded to the local rest house in Jawalamukhi, where he interacted directly with residents and listened to their grievances. Citizens from nearby areas shared concerns related to civic amenities, infrastructure, and public services. The Chief Minister assured that genuine issues would be addressed on priority, reiterating his government’s commitment to responsive governance and grassroots engagement.
The visit is being seen as part of the state government’s continued effort to maintain direct communication with people at the local level, ensuring that administrative decisions remain aligned with public needs and expectations.
