Himachal’s Digital Governance Initiatives Win National Recognition, CM Sukhu Applauds DDTG

Department of Digital Technologies and Governance has earned multiple national honours for its innovative digital governance initiatives and citizen-focused online services, further strengthening Himachal Pradesh’s reputation in the field of e-Governance.

The awards were presented to Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu by DDTG Secretary Ashish Singhmar and Director Dr. Nipun Jindal.

Among the key achievements, the department’s flagship platform HimParivar received the prestigious ET GovTech Award 2026 as the Silver Winner in the category of “Best State-Level e-Governance Initiative” by The Economic Times.

The department’s Survey Platform was also honoured with the SKOCH Award 2025 by SKOCH Group for excellence in e-Governance. The platform was recognized for improving digital survey processes and promoting data-driven administration.

In addition, HimParivar, HimAccess Single Sign-On and the Survey Platform also received the SKOCH Order of Merit for their contribution toward seamless and efficient public service delivery.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu praised the efforts of the DDTG department for ensuring transparent, secure and timely services to the people of the state. He said the government remains committed to using technology and innovation to make governance more efficient, transparent and accessible for every citizen.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the department would continue working towards the vision of a digitally empowered Himachal Pradesh through integrated platforms, citizen-centric services and technology-driven governance.

DDTG Secretary Ashish Singhmar said the recognitions reflect the department’s continuous efforts to build robust, scalable and people-friendly digital systems across the state.

Principal Secretary Devesh Kumar and other senior officers of the department were also present on the occasion.
